June Lathrop was born in Buffalo, New York in 1920, and graduatePratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York. While alive Lanthrop was a member of the Camino Gallery, East 10th Street, New York. In 1978-1979 she was the recipient of CAPS grant and began to experiment with mixed media in 1981. Her paintings appear in private collections and at the New York State Veterans' Home, Oxford, New York.
